CONFIGURATIONReview Foundry KeyIn order to run Review Foundry you need to supply it with a product key. A key has the following general format (although an actual key contains many more characters): REDQN_pb_fyBqaXJ5fi5RYnixkPno=_040919_you@mailserver_ A key confers upon the application the ability to run. Without a key you will not get far. When you downloaded the application you should also have been sent 2 trial keys, each of which are good for the 30 days following the date on which the application download took place. When the 30 days have passed, the key will expire and nolonger be functional. You can run the program with either of the 2 keys. When run with the standard key, the one beginning REDQN_pb, the pages output by the application will in most cases display Powered By and Copyright notices which refer to Random Mouse Software. This key is known as the Powered By Key. The other key, beginning with REDQN_non_pb, is known as the Non Powered By Key, and as the name suggests, the Powered By and Copyright notices will NOT appear on pages output by the application when run with this key. If you wish to run the application beyond the 30-day trial period you will need to purchase a non-expiring version of either the Powered By Key or the Non Powered By Key (the latter being the more expensive one). When you install the software, by running the installer program, you will be asked toward the end of the process to supply a key. The key will be entered into the configuration file and accessible from that point on by visiting the Review Foundry Key frame of the administrative Configure control panel. Swapping, or upgrading, a key is a simple as pasting the new key into the textbox presented on the Review Foundry Key frame and pressing the button marked "Upgrade Key". No other action is necessary to go from the trial implementation of the application to the non-expiring implementation--replacing the key is all that is required. It should be noted that care should be taken when copying and pasting keys. If even one character is mis-typed or dropped from the original key you will likely get an error message about a "tainted key" produced on the output pages instead of the expected result. If you get such a message, recheck the key against the one you received in your email box. If your key still seems non-functional after checking it, contact Random Mouse Software about the problem.
