ADDING PRODUCT COMPARISONS
Giving Your Visitors What They Want
Savvy affiliate marketers who run authority sites in a niche know that these days you have to go the extra mile to convince both visitors and the search engines that your site offers something special. Search engines in particular are constantly on the lookout for signs that you are a "thin affiliate". That is, your site is simply a conduit to the actual merchant who will fulfil the final order. Search engines like Google do not like thin affiliates, who they believe add no real worth to the visitor experience.
Adding customer reviews, and editorial reviews, to your site is one way of distinguishing yourself from thin affiliates, as reviews offer visitors the kind of information that they need to make a purchasing decision. Another way to add real visitor value to your affiliate site is to provide visitors with the opportunity to compare products of their choice. Product comparison sites are becoming ever more popular on the web. Normally you won't see this feature offered on small sites. But there are large affiliate sites that play up this feature and search engines like Google are known to regard product comparisons as an indicator of real visitor value. In other words, adding product comparisons to your site will help you rank better in the organic search results.

Fortunately for you, adding product comparisons to your own Review Foundry site (as of version 2.05) is pretty simple. Doing so will allow you to achieve two results. One is that visitors will be able to select any group of things (in a branch) and then bring them together on the one page so they can compare the features, including the price if you list it as a comparison feature. As an example, the comparison page might look like this:
